if you are playing ...
if you are playing diatonic? harmony then that means you are relating it to a major or minor scale tonality. We only use a mode over a static chord sound. Any of the minor modes will work over a D minor chord that is vamping for a long time but once you start putting chords together in a progression you are just playing the minor or major scale that is home to those chords. If you modalize the natural minor scale you will just end up with the same modes as the major scale
I just mean in ...
I just mean in majaor diatonic harmony you play a dorian for the 2 chord, phryg? for the 3, 6 ofor aeolian so in the harmonized natural minor scale what modes should you play for the diatonic 1 chord, 4 chord and 5 chord...but I will go and check those vids...
if you are playing ...
